Tuna Pizza 


Thought I would add a new category: FOOD!!! What else is as important in life!? Since I was young, my Dad has been teaching me how to make good food with the ingredients you have in the house. He is a cheese distributor and has had many food businesses, and has started a few restaurants. He makes us some amazing dinners, like the other night he made Venison fillet Mignon and garlic mashed potatoes, simply amazing. Very lucky to have been born to him haha. (grammer? :])

Tonight I was hungry so I took a flat bread pita, threw some tomato sauce on top, some fresh shredded mozzarella, and added some chunk tuna fish with some mayo mixed in. Also added some goat cheese in oil, then put it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, set to broil at 400 degrees fahrenheit. Lastly, added some oregano to finish it off. Went down great with a can of Peach Fresca :lol:

In case you were wondering, those black dots are black peppers that was in the oil that came with the goat cheese.

Hand to hold things 
Built a hand model for first person view, I am pretty proud of it. Spent a lot of time studying other people's hand models here:
http://wiki.polycount.net/Limb_Topology It is a great resource.

So I am trying to rig it with bones and have it wrap around the sci fi gun. It is really cool to see your model move around once you have bones inside! :cool:



The pinky is messed up and the other side of the hand has issues I'll have to figure out how to solve. I plan on taking it to zbrush or mudbox and making a nice normal map and partially photosourced texture.

Sci Fi Pistol Recording 
Tonight I spent about 45 minutes doing a 3d sketch. I wanted to make a sci fi pistol I saw in a Star Wars comic. :cool:



And here is the end result, nothing too fancy:


If I plan on taking it further, I'll do some clean up work, lower the polycount, unwrap it, and give it a fancy texture. Cheers ;)

Messing Around 
Some pretty awful stuff happened this past week. The real world is not easy to live in. I try to find comfort in playing on the computer, and making art. It is relaxing.

Did a quick sketch for fun (his hand is terribly messed up):


And tried messing around with mudbox and normal mapping with slaughtguy:


My prayers go out to those experiencing pain, and from the loss and injury of loved ones.

Prometheus Gun WIP 
Here is a quick gun I did based off of Arne's sweet concept here.



I would like to lower the triangle count and maybe put it into Quake.

SDK - Slaughtguy 
Here is an SDK (Skin Development Kit) that I released on polycount. It is a generic dude that was made by studying the work of Slaught, a great artist from Germany.




I also participated in my first Speed Mapping Event over the weekend, I made a quick single player map for Quake 1 which you can check out here:
